Great organisation and helpful marshals!

Initial briefing at start of Sprint event was unclear and a bit confusing.
Participants spent a lot of time waiting for any of officials to arrive.
Blinding sunlight didn't help - not a complaint, just an observation. Perhaps some clear advice about how to handle difficulty in sighting (especially for first timers)?
However, well done for an enjoyable event and thanks to all officials, marshalls and volunteers.

The only suggest I would make would be to hole punch the race numbers before going in the race pack. Many of us use race belts and it was tricky to try and punch a hole through at the venue.

A bit more of an interesting medal would have been nice - not a criticism just suggestion!

Cadet marshals need to be better educated on where to stand, twice got waived through onto a road with a car approaching because the marshals were the wrong side of the road

I really really enjoyed the event so please take this feedback as constructive, not negative:
I'd say the swim course wasn't quite what I was expecting as the bouys didn't match up to the diagram sent out in advance so got a little confused (not helped by the waves and my terrible sighting). Maybe have it marked out on a picture at the briefing
Bike route was fine although the first and last 5k on single track lanes covered in cow sh!t and gravel didn't lend themselves to speed and overtaking so I got a bit frustrated in last 5k
Run was fine, bit busy on the seafront with pedestrians not paying attention but not much you could do about that - i'd have had water at the 2.5k/7.5k turn point as well as the start/finish
Being one of those keenos who turned up at 5AM to register and get sorted it was a bit annoying to be delayed so long at the start as so many people turned up late for registration.
Overall well done - i appreciate how much effort goes in to organising an event.

What could be better:
- queue for registration was too long. Have more people on registration or have a window to register the day before
- prize giving needs to be better organised. Have a podium, and a photographer, and make something of it. It was a non event.

If the water station was relocated to the middle of the run course, it would have been more useful.

Great location, fabulous routes, excellent event.

Although I haven’t scored particularly well don’t take that to suggest this event was a failure, it wasn’t. A tough start to the day, you know that, not going to say anymore. Swim course was tricky, more bouys/markers were needed. In light waves it was difficult to see turn bouy, with waves, it’ll be tough. A touch more space in transition (nice to have, not need to have). Bike course good. Signage good. Roadworks, totally out of your hands and not an issue. Run course, good, flat. Maybe more signs for the public.

General comments, I think the staff were spread too thin. I know that you were on the back foot due to the delayed start so maybe not a fair comment.

Everything was great, but the swim course probably just needs a little bit of work to confirm what we are doing as the explanation was confusing. I'm not mega fast, but when I turned and was swimming back in, I was swimming into slower swimmers in the olympic distance race.

Long delay on results.

Registration the day before may help.
