Hills for days...
Really lovely, friendly atmosphere. A fair few hills so not for the faint hearted. The organisers and volunteers along the way did a great job, well done guys.
Medal and a free Mr Whippy at the end, win, win!

Be prepared for hills and seasoned runners!
Lovely small friendly race with a free Mr Whippy ice cream to finish! Be prepared for lots of hills and lane running so not many wide vistas of countryside. Challenging but very well organised and a beautiful location. Well worth the effort. Great wooden medals awarded too.

A great event
The included ice cream was a fabulous addition.
Thank you to all the team who made today's event possible.

Well organised good run, tough hills
Medals not best , but not important to most , wouldn't stop me booking again
Wendy clarke
Marshalls were brilliant. The course is very hilly but the ice cream at the end was much appreciated!

Excellent Race
The course is very interesting, with lots of changes. One minute you run through a ford. Next, you're running down a trail. The hills are not too long, and running down them is fun.

Cracking event
Very nice event, great venue and route, well marshalled and friendly

Bit of a toughie for beginners, they would be better on a flatter course?
Steve Harrington
Fun race, friendly Marshalls

At its infancy, needs a tweek
It was published as multi terrain but it was a good 2/3 tarmac!! People wore trail shoes that are hard going on tarmac. There was no river!!
It was a really race well organised just needs time to grow for an atmosphere and tweek to add a field or through woods etc to call it a multi terrain. This was road race on the lanes.
That said I enjoyed it and would do it again if described a bit more honestly.

Lovely, quiet countryside and good route
Advise people to use the main entrance to the college and not to follow Google maps to the back entrance where the gate was shut as I foolishly did (along with a couple of others!). Or if you already do, them make sure it's in large bold text so those of us who, errr, didn't quite pay enough attention spot it!

A jolly beach run that had plenty of mud, sand, sea and scenery
This was as good, if not better than a tough-mudder. The lovely surprise of the cross-country mud sliding was humorous as plenty of us slid up and down the route to Sandy Bay. The wonderful short sprint along the beach was fully appreciated by everyone; wind, dogs, small children all adding to the obstacles. As we rounded the Harbour and through the edge of town the smell of chips enticing runners to stop for a short snack was the final tough test. All in all this run was worth the wait, the third storm of the wettest month in UK weather history was not going to stop us. Deciding whether to keep the Gortex on or just go for it during the pre-race brief was also unforgettable. Well done Lizzie and the team for getting it together.
