Honiton Triathlon

LMEvents are delighted to be back in 2022 with this very popular pool based triathlon.
Race directors, Lizzie Mayne and Wai Ming Loh will continue the smooth running of this enjoyable, challenging, and friendly event. The event can be completed by individuals or as a relay team where each team member completes a single discipline.

The pool will be split into 5 lanes with 2 swimmers per lane. All competitors will swim 16 lengths of the pool (400m). The lane counters will endeavour to count your laps but please do keep a mental note!
The 20km* cycle route will take you out and then back! However, on the return into Honiton, competing cyclists will turn left at the Fire Station onto Northcote Lane so that they can return to the transition area.
Scenic multi-terrain 5K* run out of Honiton, over the River Otter and up into Combe Hill Woods, before heading down through the Otter Valley and back into town and the finish line outside the Honiton RFC clubhouse.

Race day and timings:
• 0630 Registration opens - Race number and race pack collection from the Rugby Club
• 0800 Rolling swim starts
Please read the safety briefing sheet in your race pack this is mandatory for all athletes.
The race information pack will also be emailed to all participants during the week prior to the race.
Results will be displayed in Individual Race Categories, male and female.

Please note, this race is subject to the UK Government’s four-step roadmap to ease restrictions across England and the conditions which must be met before the country is able to move from one step to the next. If the restricitons do not allow the race will be moved to a furture date and all participants will automatically be transferred. If you are unable to do the new date a credit note will be issued.
