Great day out
Jade Jephcott
Nice friendly event.
Would be really helpful if the Marshal at the turn around point would tell runners to keep left, as we had participants running towards us and when I asked if we should keep left I was told she didn’t know.
Janet Bunce
Great event, well marshalled and organised. Thanks to all.
Helen Boiling
Good organisation, cheerful marshalls
The course was well marked and plenty of cheerful marshalls. Loved the one with the tambourine!
Wendy Clarke
Very well run and marshalled event with a lovely run along the seafront but there are some horrendous hills to climb!
Chris Noake
Well organised and fun event
Always well organised and the Marshalls are fantastic
Joanne Timmins
A brilliant event every one was friendly.
This was our first competitive 10k , we trained hard for it , we both thought the course was lovely except those hills lol
Nigel Germeney
testing but fab race
would like distance markers on route but not a deal breaker and maybe send off in waves as was crowded on the paths till it got spread out. It was an enjoyable event thankyou

A lovely run for my first non-virtual 10k
Luckily my usual 5k run starts with a hill so not totally unprepared but it was nowhere near the relentless (and seemingly endless) hill at a mile and a half. Don’t be afraid to power walk the beast.
Chris Heywood
Picturesque & a couple of steep bits
Fabulous route through the Byes alongside the river Sid - Salcombe hill gets the pulse going somewhat, & then the esplanade running by the sea, what could be better! Another climb up Salcombe before you're on the home straight, much better than a flat course.
Well organised & marshalled as usual - recommended!
Terry Bewes
A well organized and friendly event
Pete Norman
Beautiful location
Great event, mostly flat tarmac route. Has a couple of testing short hills. Very friendly with plenty of marshalling making it simple to follow. Will definitely be doing again.
James Williams
Fantastic
Will return next year. Loved the event.
Vicky Burton
Well organised with wonderful marshalls
I would have loved to have Mike markers so you could see how far it was as we went along.
Amelia Frankpitt
fabulous running event, well organised, great atmosphere, friendly local race.
Interesting.
Traffic passing at the start line made it very difficult to hear what was being said. Lack of starting waves meaning everyone just set off and a very narrow first mile made it near on impossible to get going, especially with people running in groups taking up the entire path. Very few marshals along the route, with 2 very large steep hills. Advertised as a good route for beginners and PBs, the above made it very difficult. No road closures which caused for obstacles. The bridge over the Ford wasn’t being managed very well, there were families walking across taking up the whole bridge meaning runners had to stop. No marshals along the seafront meaning you had to dodge people for the whole length.. including small children on scooters and dogs.
On returning back towards the finish line the Byes were incredibly busy and many walkers with dogs off their leads, again making runners stop time and time again.
I’m very aware the whole route was a public route but for the £21 entry fee I would expect a little more than what I experienced today. Really disappointed.

A tough 10k
Very busy with non runners, particularly on the sea front.
Beccy Johnson
Amazing atmosphere and route
Love the metal medal in preference to the wooden ones
