Well stewarded - very encouraging.

The race needs distance markers. It was impossible to judge my pace without them. Please consider this for future races. I didn’t require any refreshments. However I would recommend that some were available at the turnaround at the far end of the promenade not the one near the Grove. Other than that I will be back next year!

Well marshalled, well organised and well run. I had an amazing time running my first Exmouth 10k, it felt like a friends and family atmosphere, thank you all see you next year.

I would run it again but would prefer the 65+ age category rather than 55-69

Lovely time and venue to have a 10k for visitors but due to its exposure it’s very weather dependant?
To a resident it’s just a 2 lap Parkrun which is held the day before?

It is very disheartening when the rules are changed, the age category prizes were advertised in certain categories, and then changed on the day. Why? As runners get older goals adjust and age cat prizes are really important to validate how people are doing despite getting older. I won't be doing this race again because it doesnt value this.

The age categories are drawn very wide. Perhaps because I'm heading towards my 68th birthday I found it a little disheartening to be in an age group covering 55-69! I'm used to five or ten year bands but haven't come across a 15 year band before!
